Ambassador of Iran to Pakistan Mehdi Honardoost called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Saturday.
Matters of mutual interest including regional security were discussed. The ambassador lauded Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad and contribution towards peace in the region.
COAS thanked the ambassador by stating that Pakistan Army holds historical relationship between the two countries dear and cannot be compromised at any cost. He emphasised on enhancing bilateral military cooperation to promote peace and stability in the region.
