Load shedding protests turn violent in KPK as one person dies amid protests: Protests against load shedding turn violent in Khyper Pakhtunkhwa Malakand district, at least one person has been killed and six others injured in protests on Monday, 29th, May, 2017.

In an attempt to move away from the busy street, Ilahi took the procession towards the Wapda House in a move to enter the premises. However, a heavy police contingent had arrived at the scene and guarded the gate of the power distribution company’s office.
Later on Ilahi had made the claim that he had been called to Wapda House for negotiations, however was not being allowed in by the police, who he claims were manhandling his supporters.
The new protest has came days after some of the PTI members had been arrested for ransacking the Pesco office in Batkhela amid protests against the frequent power outages.
