Marriyum Aurangzeb says Nawaz Sharif respects law, constitution
She was replying to the accusations raised against the former prime minister that he had failed to follow the constitution of the country.
Through a statement she said that the appearance of Nawaz Sharif before the country shows that he respects the law. She added that unlike other leader she had not used medical excuses such as backache to remain absconding from the court.
“What other prime minister or his family has created such an example?”
She remarked that the people of Pakistan want the man that they elected to be treated justly, adding that “Nawaz has sworn to protect the vote of the Pakistani citizens.”
In the statement, she also mentioned that the entry knows who upheld the law and constitution despite reservations.
Institutions were threatened, belittled by others. The entire country knows who was responsible for this, she added in the statement.
