Media network to promote religious harmony to be launched on Tuesday: Being a unique first time experience, Tolerant Pakistan Media Network is to be launched on Tuesday, 16th May. The launching ceremony will be conducted at the Pakistan Institute for Parliamentary Services (PIPS) Auditorium at the nation’s capital Islamabad.
The chief guests would be the Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Ms Marriyum Aurangzeb, and Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Mr Sardar Mohammad Yousaf.
The founding patron of the Tolerant Pakistan Media network Dr. Ramesh Kumar Vankwani said in a press statement released today that “The motive behind this initiative is to encourage journalists so that they proactively foster better understanding, tolerance, and mutual respect within Pakistani society and with foreign world”.
The aim of the network is to empower journalists to promote interfaith harmony, peace, tolerance and humanity through different mediums that are available to them.
