MQM walks out of Sindh Assembly over dispute with deputy speaker

Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) staged a walkout from Sindh Assembly’s session on Friday after a fight broke out between Deputy Speaker Shehla Raza and MQM member of provincial assembly (MPA) Saifuddin Khalid.

The dispute arose when Deputy Speaker interrupted MPA Saifuddin’s speech over addressing public issues and sharing the party’s grievances.

“I will not entertain your ‘call attention’ notices,” Shehla Raza initmidated. “Get out of the session if you can’t read them!”

She then shut down microphones of opposition’s benches which made MQM walk out from the assembly, disrupting the session.
