One ‘terrorist’ killed in CTD raid in Korangi

Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) conducted a raid in Karachi’s Korangi area on Sunday night, killing a suspected terrorist and arresting many.

The killed terrorist was identified as Dildaar alias Chacha who belonged to a banned outfit. He was a reported expert in making explosive material and was involved in attacks on naval bases.

According to CTD official, the raid was conducted on a tip-off. A huge cache of explosives, detonators and ammunition was seized from the raided hideout.

Inspector General A.D. Khawaja told the reporters that the arrested were being inquired and also announced a prize worth Rs1 million for CTD on foiling the bid.
