PM to chair meeting prior to Panama case verdict
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will chair an important meeting prior to the Panama case verdict today.
According to sources, legal aides, advisers and federal ministers will be present at the PM House where Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will listen to the verdict of the Panama Papers case.
Sources add that the prime minister is satisfied and confident that the verdict will be in his favour. However, sources further said that whatever the decision, it will be implemented by the government.
PML-N leaders have stated that the government wants Parliament to complete its tenure.
The Supreme Court will announce the verdict in the Panama Papers case today.
The decision of the Panama Papers case will be announced by the original five-member bench that heard the landmark case from January this year. The bench is expected to begin proceedings at 11:30am.
