Prime Minister Nawaz will not be holding any bilateral meetings in Saudi Arabia: The Foreign Office has clarified that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif during his two day visit, will not be holding any bilateral meetings in Saudi Arabia.
The Prime Minister has responded to the media reports about the possibility of the premier’s bilateral meetings at the Islamic summit in Riyadh. Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson has said that the ‘full agenda of the half-day summit’ does not permit sideline bilateral meetings.
The Prime Minister will depart for Saudi Arabia for a two day visit on Sunday. The PM will take part in the Arab Islamic American Summit. PM Nawaz Sharif has bilateral meetings with the Saudi King and US President Donald Trump on the cards.
It is expected that more than 35 leaders of the Islamic world as well as secretary generals of the Organisation of Islamic Countries will participate in the summit.
