Sartaj Aziz says that Struggle of Kashmiris changed India’s stance

Foreign affairs adviser Sartaj Aziz on Monday, 3rd July 2017 has said that the struggle for freedom of the Kashmiris’ has changed India’s stance which has been trying to declare the endeavours as a terrorist movement.

The media was told by Aziz that a majority of the population in occupied Kashmir does not want to side with India.

He added that “India has occupied Kashmir on gunpoint.

Mr Aziz added that the issue of Kashmir is essential for them and it cannot be overlooked, which is why the Pakistani government will not hold talks with India without Kashmir being part of the deliberations.

Aziz added that “Pakistan will continue to provide political and diplomatic support to the Kashmiris’ struggle.

Mr Aziz while talking about Syed Salahuddin, who was recently declared a “global terrorist” by the United States, said that the decision has not been made by the United Nations. Mr Aziz added that it was not necessary for them to agree with US’ decision.
