Tri-Series Hosted By Zimbabwe: In a T20 international (T20I) triangular series, Zimbabwe will host Pakistan and Australia in July this year. The tri-series will be played at Harare Sports Club in the capital of Zimbabwe Harare.

Zimbabwe and Pakistan will play the opening T20I on July 1st while each team will play 4 matches in a one to one, with the top two sides meeting in the final on July 8th.

Pakistan will also play for five one-day international (ODI) matches against Zimbabwe after the triangular series. Bulawayo’s Queens Sports Club will host this ODI series. The five ODI matches between Zimbabwe and Pakistan are scheduled for July 13, 16, 18, 20 and 22.

Australia will tour Zimbabwe for the first time since 2014 in July, with the dates for their first ever T20I tri-series in Zimbabwe. Australia’s time in Harare will be after a 5 match ODI series and one-off T20I against England in the UK from June 13-28. Australian team will play with a new coach, captain and vice-captain who took charge after the ball tampering controversy in South Africa which led to the suspensions of Steve Smith and David Warner.

“Playing two of the game’s biggest teams will provide us with a very welcome litmus test as we forge ahead with our plans to develop a stronger Zimbabwe side capable of consistently competing and winning against the best,” Zimbabwe cricket board head said.
