Actor Veena Malik banished the idea of reconciling with her husband, Asad Khattak, after agreeing to do so on a private television channel’s show.
Per details, Veena had decided to forgive Asad Khattak for abusing her on religious figure Maulana Tariq Jameel’s insistence, but has now decided to leave it to the court to decide their marriage’s fate.
“Life decisions cannot be made on television screens. I respect all those who gave me the love of father and brother but the decision of request to divorce (Khula) will be made in the court,” stated Veena.
She claimed to be kept uninformed about the purpose of the show which was the reconciliation between herself and Asad. “My father holds the first due right to decide on my behalf,” said Veena.
