13-point agenda discussed in cabinet session chaired by PM

Federal cabinet was taken in confidence by the Prime Minister Khaqan Abbasi after concluding his visit to the United States and the United Nation. He said that he had presented Pakistan’s stance on the Kashmir issue in a clear manner.

While chairing the meeting, the prime minister also apprised the cabinet with the other issues which were raised in the UN during the General assembly session which has just concluded.

The sources have claimed that the secretary of power division had briefed the cabinet in regards to the demand of electricity in the country and said that an extra 6,107mw of electricity is being produced within the country compared to that of 2013.

The session also reviewed a 13-point agenda. Issues’ pertaining to country’s political and development projects were reviewed in the meeting, sources informed.
