Milli Muslim League announces launching nation-wide alliance with religious, political parties

Newly formed political part, Milli Muslim League (MML), Monday announced to launch nation-wide alliance of religious and political parties.

Addressing a news conference, leader of MML Saifullah Khalid, said that efforts to abolish article 62 and 63 of the constitution would never be succeeded. Secretary General, Sheikh Fiaz Ahmed, Vice President Muzammil Iqbal Qureshi, Secretary Information Tabish Qayyum, Finance Secretary Muhammad Ehsan, “We have decided to make a new political party, so that Pakistan is to made a real Islamic and welfare state,” said Milli Muslim League President Saifullah Khalid.

Saifullah Khalid said that it would never be allowed to abolish article 62 and 63 of the constitution, adding ruling corrupt people wanted to legalize the corruption. He said Pakistan was acquired at the name of Allah while hundreds of thousands sacrifices were offered to create the country. He lamented that situation of country was not in lines with dream of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Allama Muhammad Iqbal.

MML leader noted that external powers were promoting racism and sectarianism among Pakistanis. He said involvement of foreign hands was increasing day by day. He observed that a specific faction was doing politics for their exterior motives. He said same people used to change loyalties. He said corruption and lawlessness is touching new heights.

There was need to reconstruct the country, which fulfill the dreams of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Allah Muhammad Iqbal, he added. He justified that basic purpose to establish MML was aimed at making Pakistan a real welfare Islamic state. He said intervention of foreign hand has posed a big threat to the security of the country.

Saifullah Khalid said that the constitution of 1973 is foremost as Quran and Sunnah are above the all in the constitution. He lamented that no practical steps were being taken in this regard.  ‘We want to train the nation following Pakistan’s ideology as survival of Pakistan”, he added.

Talking about Kashmir freedom movement, he said Quaid-e-Azam had termed Kashmir as lifeline of Pakistan. He said Kashmiri Muslim were not only fighting their own war but also completion of Pakistan. He saluted to sacrifices offered by Kashmiri freedom fighters and asked Muslim Ummah to extend their support and help, in this regard. He said Kashmiris must be given their right of self-determination according to United Nations’ resolutions.

He said rulers and politicians have not played their due role for liberty of Kashmir. He said Milli Muslim League will leave no stone unturned to foil conspiracies against Kashmir freedom movement.  He further said that Islam has also safeguarded the minorities other than any religion. He said Islam has given a special status to women. He said so-called propaganda of NGOs is not correct. Our politics is aimed at serving the humanity, he added.

We wanted to see Pakistan a free and autonomous country, he said, adding a country on the way of development. He said representation of poor in Pakistan’s politics is very low. He said in case an educated poor person is elected Member of the Assembly, numerous problems are created for him. He said women are 50% of the total population, adding representation would be given to women in Milli Muslim League.

To a query, he said that keeping rules and regulations in front, an application has been submitted in Election Commission of Pakistan. To another question, he said India is arch rival of Pakistan who sent Kulbhushan Yadiv to Pakistan for terrorism. Replying to another question, he said that Hafiz Saeed is house-arrest and asked for his respectful releases.
