PAC directs to launch high level investigation of cellular companies tax evasion

The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) has directed to launch high level investigation of Rs 300 billion tax evasion of cellular companies.

The PAC meeting was held on Thursday with opposition leader Syed Khursheed Shah in the chair. During the meeting the PTA was directed to take immediate steps for the improvement of mobile phone services.

While addressing the meeting PTA Chairman Ismail Shah categorically stated that department has no control on social media, however added that internet exchange was being establishing in Islamabad and Lahore.

During the preceding, committee was informed that Insta-Phone due recovery of Rs 22 billion was impossible.
