PM agrees for in house change, if he is disqualified: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has expressed his willingness about in house change in case of his disqualification in Panama papers case. This consent was shown in a consultative meeting held in PM house on Friday in the chair with PM Nawaz Sharif and this decision was endorsed by all PML-N parliamentarians including Mehmood Achakzai.
Earlier, PM was given briefing about the court proceeding on Panama papers case and also advised not to resign from this slot otherwise the pressure of opposition parties would be enhanced.
The PM said that it is a matter of grave concern that matter of Panama paper case is subjudice and opposition is demanding for his resignation without any justice, adding that opposition live in fool’s paradise and it should be reminded that PM would never resign at any cost.
He expressed the hope that the apex court would give its judgment in his favour and opposition have to face the embarrassment.
Sources said that PM has started consultation with associates over the name of new Premier in case of his disqualification in Panama papers case. On this occasion, some close associate of PM especially Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has advised to summon a separate meeting for the name of new Premier.
“Before consultation meeting, PM called a one-to-one his brother and Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif in which name of new Prime Minister was proposed”, sources added and maintained that Shahbaz Sharif said that decision of PM Nawaz Sharif in this regard would be accepted.
“For the slot of new Premiership Federal Minister of Petroleum Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq were declared first and second favourite candidate respectively”, sources concluded.
