Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif on Friday said that a new prosperous era has begun in North Waziristan.
He addressed a ceremony after laying foundation stone of Kurram Tangi Dam in North Waziristan. He said that process to mainstream Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) will be initiated soon as the era of terror has ended.
He emphasised to end political differences and work in harmony for the progress of the country.
He also reiterated that Bhasha Dam’s construction would begin this year which will make power outages a story of the past.
According to sources, Kurram Tangi Dam will generate 83.4 Mega Watts of electricity.
